Thank you everyone for coming to Bourbon Maven for your education in all things whisk(e)y. When I first launched site in its beta testing, I couldn’t imagine where it could lead. As of publication, I’m thrilled to announce that we have launched Women&Whiskey classes in Oakland and Seattle with almost 200 women (and gentlemen) attending. We’ve also conducted some great corporate events at venues in Newport Beach and Seattle.
I’m also excited to announce that Bourbon Maven will be joining forces with Women Who Whiskey. Women Who Whiskey is an experimental whiskey club for women.
Both for amateurs and connoisseurs, Women Who Whiskey gives our members the opportunity to learn about varieties of whiskeys and cocktail culture, and to join a network of like-minded women with a taste for curiosity and strong drinks. We host events in different venues around our chapter cities, where members can try new spirits, discuss mixology with seasoned bartenders, and enjoy the company of other whiskey-loving ladies.
I will be the Chapter Co-President for the Bay Area chapter AND the Chapter Co-President for the Seattle chapter. The sign up portal for the respective chapters will be available soon and I’m hoping you all join and attend future events.
